Where Growth Mindset Meets Hands-On Learning
Kindergarten and Beyond offers Tutoring for Confidence, Curiosity, and Lifelong Skills
Kindergarten and Beyond offers private tutoring and group tutoring sessions to empower students through play-based and project-driven experiences that build more than just grades—they build a lifelong learning tool belt.
What Makes Our Learning Family Different?
We Don’t Just Tutor, We Teach Students How to Learn
At our Kindergarten and Beyond Learning Center, in Woodbury, CT we believe learning should be empowering, not overwhelming. We help students (ages 5–18+) discover their unique potential through individualized support and hands-on projects.
Our mission goes beyond academics: we build confident, capable learners. By fostering a growth mindset—which research shows can add a full month of progress to a student’s year—we provide a supportive bridge from kindergarten through high school.
Personalized Learning For Our CT Students
Whether your child learns at home or in a public or private classroom, we meet them exactly where they are. In our warm and inviting space, the body and brain work together to transform curiosity into independence. By blending core academic support—Reading, Writing, and Math—with active, movement-based learning, we nurture the whole child: academically, socially, and emotionally.

Heart & Mindset First:
We focus on confidence and a growth mindset. When a child believes they can improve, success naturally follows.

The Power of Play:
Learning here is active and meaningful. We follow natural developmental milestones—because when kids are creating and exploring, the lessons stick.

Tools for Independence:
We give students “portable” strategies—tools they can pull out of their backpack at their own school desk when they are working on their own.

A Body-Brain Approach:
We improve student learning by integrating movement and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
